If you are building an app for the iPhone devices, then you'll need to
download Xcode from Apple to a Mac, install all the project files
(HTML/CSS/JS/PhoneGap/Plugins, make any updates to the native Xcode
files where necessary, and compile (Run) it. You'll need to run it on
an Apple mobile device to test it and if it's fine, you pay Apple for
a developer account, upload it to Apple, and it goes on iTunes when
accepted. (This is a simplified version of the process. Some steps
have been ommitted.)

Based on what you wrote, it seems like your app has limited iPhone
functionality and will be rejected. It sounds like it should be a web
app.

Steve

Yes, you must be a registered Apple developer. ($99/yr)

Make sure your app does something more than simply loading a website. Apple doesn't look on that very kindly. That said, with some of the dreck that makes it through (re: recent fraudulent copy-cat apps), who knows if anyone there is watching until it becomes front-page news...?

Some other tips:
- test on more than just the iOS simulator! The real thing and the simulator really aren't much a like. By that I mean that the "feel" is different, and they process things at different speeds. (For example: an animation might be smooth in the simulator and be choppy on the device. Or a search might take a second in the simulator and three seconds on the device. Plus, touch & gestures are obviously totally unlike the real thing when playing in the simulator.)
- On my xcode, the www dir didn't even get created. I had to go create it and then find the phonegap.js files and drop them in. Just an FYI. Maybe yours will work better with that.

Good luck!
