I am happy to announce the release of a new version of PHOCOA that
includes AJAX infrastructure!
I have completely refactored all of the YUI stuff to support the
built-in AJAX wiring, and also added direct support for AJAX forms
into PHOCOA.
The support isn't complete yet in terms of widgets that support AJAX

Yep OK I saw that bug report. I'll fix that up. Should work with PG
too now that I've seen how the propel code works under the covers.
Let me fix it and test a bit and I'll post something this weekend.

Apparently the + is *not* an issue as previously thought. There is a
new issue concerning the way Propel gets MySQL credentials. Unlike the
pgsql driver, the MySQL username is not derived from the DSN, it
requires an extra attribute <user> in runtime-conf.xml. i.e. :

Let me rephrase that -
I tried from scratch again (I didn't get further) and I ran into this
new error from `propel-gen . creole om convert-conf`.
I haven't tried to run createSkeletonFromPropel yet, since we know
there's a database issue.
I don't recall getting a fatal error from propel-gen last time. I did

I've tried running this two ways, letting `phocoa newProject`
"generate a PHP interface to your database objects", and running
`propel-gen . creole om convert-conf` after fixing the
build.properties file, both with the same result.
I tried from scratch again and I've gotten further this time, not sure

Nope, that little tidbit must be a propel bug...
Aha! I see the problem... look in the "classes" array below... it's
empty!
So it seems I forgot to ask you one other question -- did you run:
propel-gen blog/blog/propel-build om convert-conf

Looks like it's all there, see below. Seems like this is still a
naming/case issue. Also the comment says "file generated by Propel 1.3
convert-props", but 1.3 uses "convert-conf" as the target. Is this
statement coming from Phocoa? If so, 'nother minor fix ;-)

Ah ok. That looks like the autoload isn't working...
Did you "enable" propel in the app delegate? Did you run the convert-
conf target of propel-gen? That's what sets up the list of classes
for autoload in propel...
You should have a file like:
project/project/conf/project-c onf.php
If you don't, run:

Ok thanks. I did not realize that the DNS format wasn't universal. I

Looks like that's hard coded in the phing/build.xml file. Seems this
will be different depending on the database type. I guess + must work
for PostgreSQL. I saw a reference to SQLite somewhere, that's where I
thought the + came from since SQLite is possibly used in place of
MySQL.
