RE: Seeking a Challenging Engineering Management, Project Management,
Experimental Design, or Consulting Employment Opportunity

OBJECTIVE:

Seeking a Challenging Engineering/Management position where broad
hands on technical background, education, leadership skills, and
motivation can be used to provide realizable contributions in the
areas of engineering management, expermental research and development,
budgetary management and audits, Market Research, Specialized TQM
Program Development, Product Development, as well as organizational
operations and development.

SUMMARY:

Over the last 15 years, I have successfully supported hands on as well
as administrative management assignments that have required significant
expertise in the areas of cryogenic experimental systems development,
thin film deposition, experimental physics hardware design and
fabrication, root cause analysis, detonation physics, high-vacuum and
pressure containment systems, computer controlled gas flow-measurement
systems, electronic controller temperature ramp and soak processes,
image processing and electro-optical characterization systems.

I have also demonstrated extensive engineering expertise as well as the
ability for setting objective goals and decision making, planning, and
the execution of highly technical as well as administrative guidelines
and activities. I have had to direct the work of others while
interacting frequently with the Engineering Department, Division, and
the programs highest level of management to assure that often
conflicting requirements such as time, technical, fiscal, and
organizational goals were met in a professional manner.

I have been required to demonstrate my ability to direct complex
technical team activities that have had a major influence on the
success of several programs in terms of accomplishing complex
engineering assignments, while developing strong yet diverse technical
teams, ensuring cost effective decisions, with major influence on the
outcome of significant contributions to extremely challenging as well
as significant programs.

I have acted in a pivotal role that has provided strategic development
plans for specialized emerging technologies. I have also in a
management role demonstrated specialized expertise in conflict
resolution, compensation/salary analysis, team building, performance
management, recruitment, employee relations, EEO/AA mandate compliance,
Diversity, and related program development. Technical abilities
includes the capabilities of system’s integration and documentation
relative to electro-optical, cryogenics, PLC logic control circuits,
hydromechanical, electronic, and computer systems.

In the real working world business and engineering/science is changing
faster and less predictably than ever before and a strong technical
skill's base coupled to innovative abilities is paramount in meeting
the present and future emerging engineering technology needs. I do
feel that I am prepared to face these dynamics. In my view, an
unparalleled degree of flexibility in order to capture and leverage on
present and future business opportunities is a central business
requirement that inherently requires one to be an efficient, yet
innovative engineering generalist to meet present and future
technological demands in the work place.

The technical strengths that I can bring to an Engineering, Business,
or Academic Organization, if fully utilized, can place a synergistic
work environment in the unique position of providing the growth engine
for the present as well as far into the future. While this discussion
is not all inclusive of my philosophical perspectives. I feel that it
servers as a starting point for discussing mutual interest with respect
to your employment opportunity.

Geographical Preferences: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island,
Atlanta, Washington D. C., and Virginia. All other areas can be
appropriately discussed and negotiated.
