Senior Admissions Counselor - Belmont Comprehensive Treatment Center
We are currently seeking a Senior Admissions Counselor for our Belmont Comprehensive Treatment Center
Responsibilities of this position include:
Providing telephonic triage and crisis intervention, coordinate the referral and intake process, determine appropriate level of care, facilitates the crisis evaluation, 23 hour bed and inpatient admission, and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, unit staff and MCOs.
Links patients being discharged from the crisis service to community resources. Also performs telephonic triage for outpatient and inpatient services, and completes the patient registration function.
Provide clinical oversight for the Admission Counselors as needed.
This position requires providing service to the following age populations(s) (ALL) in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position also requires providing services to specialty populations such as patients with eating disorders.
If you possess the following, please apply:
Licensed Social Worker or Psychologist with at least 3 years of mental health experience required.
Excellent clinical skills along with experience in the managed care pre-certification process and level of care assessments required.
Experience with Child/adolescent and eating disorder population preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Working knowledge of PC applications required.
Valid Pennsylvania License in either Social work or Psychology required.
