Admissions Counselor
We are seeking an Admissions Counselor for the Access Center at Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment
Responsibilities of this position include:
Provide telephonic triage and crisis intervention
Coordinate the referral and intake process
Determine appropriate level of care
Facilitate the admission, scheduling or referral process
Process the admission of patients
Maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and program staff.
If you possess the following, please apply:
Bachelors degree in Psychology or related field strongly preferred
At least 5 years of experience working in a psychiatric setting required.
2 years prior phone triage, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population required
Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Working knowledge of PC applications required.
