I loved the description of Judas and Jesus talking about how the other
followers just couldn't get the prayer thing down. They had to have
pre-made chants and didn't understand the concept of private, open
prayer. Matches up perfectly with Matthew 6:5, though "Christians" deny
the fact that they aren't supposed to publicly chant incantations over
and over again.

It always seems to come down to folks not wanting to give up their
power over God. And they can't even see it. I explain it to my Theist
friends and only a couple get it. The others are so determined to deny
reality and retain their magical abilities (I prayed and God helped my
find my keys) that I often feel very removed from them.
