About this Site:
The Philodemic Society is Georgetown's Premier on Campus debate group that invites all its participates, according to our motto, to pursue eloquence in defense of liberty. The society is over 178 years old, and invites any interested Hoyas to participate in this time honored tradition.
This website is part of the new Philodemic Technology Initiative that intends to improve communication between Philodemicians as well as facilitate advanced discussion of weekly resolutions. If you have any suggestion about how to improve this group, please let us know.
You can edit how frequently you receive email updates. There are two ways to do this. First, you can go "Edit My Membership" page in the Google group, where you can choose from a variety of options for receiving email updates. I would recommend the option were you get a condensed email once a day with
all the updates that have occurred on the site. Second, you can turn on or off whether you receive email updates from specific discussion
board topics. Once you open up a discussion board, click the 'options' link which should be on the right of the page, across from the title of the discussion. This should unclog your inbox a great
deal.
