Hi all,

Hope this isnt considered spam, but just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the FlashCamp event coming up in Philly. The event is centered around (surprise!) Adobe Flash, Flex and Adobe AIR. If you havent looked at Flash as an option for your client side tier it could be a good way to learn more. Adobe AIR is also a good way to get your apps to a user's desktop and can actually be written in either Flash or HTML/JS. We'll even have a speaker from MTVNetworks who'll talk about writing native apps for the iphone using the LLVM crosscompiler thats now a part of the new Flash toolkit, something that just came out a month or so ago.

Rob Hall is organizing the event for the most part and has lined up a pretty impressive list of speakers.  Do check out http://flashcamp.pfpaug.org/ for more information. There are also group discounts available if you can convince a few others to come to the event.
