Building Distributed Systems Talk

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share that Philly ALT.NET and Azavea are hosting Rinat Abdullin for what should be a great talk on Saturday, May 25th at 2pm.  

Rinat's primary focus is in .NET and their cloud services, Azure, but he is a well-versed technologist, and an expert in things like distributed/service-oriented architecture, messaging, Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), and Event-Sourcing/Event-Driven architectures.  

Recently he has been talking a lot about the Actor model, Akka, Scala and similar topics.  

I suggested he stop in Philly while visiting the US from Russia, so I'm hoping to show him our great developer community, and make him feel welcome. 

I think it will be a fun event and we'll go get some beer and food afterward at a local pub. If you're interested in any of the above, please come by!
