Schedule of Events for coming months

Does anyone have a list of all upcoming local go events in the next two
or three months? I just want to fix my sked para makapunta naman ako. hehehe

Hey Aerol,

Our regular schedule is to meet once a month at SM Marikina for OGM,
once a month at 5th floor poolside, Antel Condo, Roxas Blvd, Pasay
City to meet with Mr. Noh and Mr. Izeki. Exact dates of these are
usually announced when the actual meetup is near. Our next meetup at
Antel is on January 9, 2010.

The election of officers is scheduled on January 16. Our national
championship may also be held on the same day (tentative, depending on
the schedule of everyone).

Then we have school activities, like the one we had with Ateneo last
August (?) and UP AME's anime fair last Nov. For next year, Tech
Institute of the Phils (TIP) may have a Go booth during their
foundation week on early February, but we'll have to wait for news
from them.

Sometimes, we meet Wednesdays 5pm at McDonalds Katipunan. And then
there's also meetups in Greenbelt 3 (Saturday/Sunday) but that happens
every 2 or 3 months.

@mikong> kuya, positive na po na gagawa ang TIP nang Go Booth ^_^
gagayahin namin yung ginawa nyo po doon sa UP Ame yung may puzzle and
Prizes. We got 5(9x9) *yung 4 doon yung binili ko po na pwedeng maging
19x19*, And probably we'll held a mini tournament using 9x9 boards.

When's your foundation week? What do you need, perhaps more 9x9
boards? I may be able to donate 2.

The event is on February 1-5, 2010 (Monday to Friday)
Hmm.. I think we got enough 9x9's (we now have 6 9x9's *plus the board
of PGA that jamie won at UP AME last year*)

Owww! Do you still have those flyers from last year? I'll be
distributing them to promote the organization.
and the tournament..about 10 people are joining (probably more, since
i'll be announcing the tournament on the same date of the event for
those people who would like to join).

Bawal ba outsiders? That's fine. We'll just support your event in
spirit. hehehe

Flyers? I think Celeste has a soft copy of that, maybe she can email
that to you, and you can take care of the printing. But Celeste's busy
right now preparing for the online pair go prelims this weekend. Maybe
next week. Or, remind us, when you attend the national championship.

OGM is this Saturday Jan 30, but we'll probably be busy organizing the
nationals. I'm also trying to reserve my energy, coz a 5-round
tournament is exhausting (Nationals is on Jan 31), not to mention
organizing it, and if preceded by organizing a full-day Go demo event
during OGM, that could be really stressful.
