The trophy we'll likely get for the National Championship is this one
(see lower right called Opal Blue, click to enlarge):

There are 3 sizes (from 6-8 inches tall) with prices P700/P750/P800.
Maybe someone would like to donate that amount. :)
I would have liked a crystal trophy, but it was too expensive (P1100
and above). I also liked the glass award type, where we can have a
background design (silhouette in trophy terms) like the chinese
character for Go or a board position (stones on a grid). But a glass
award is more expensive than the trophy above (P300 for the silhouette
and P120/inch so for 6 inches tall that's already P1020), and someone
would need to design the silhouette, and they'll need time to etch the
design on the glass (7 working days), etc.
Perhaps in the future, we can have a big-ass trophy that the winner
doesn't really take home. Every year, the winner's name is engraved to
it. That would be nice.
