I am currently considering getting a place together for at least one
of the days, where we can be a "hub" venue for folks wanting to attend
the conference, but also socialize a bit.

Would anyone be interested in a one day Hub event? There is a cost
associated with attending even virtually as a hub, and we might need
to charge a litle above and beyond to cover the venue and refreshments
- but it would allow you to at least attend in the presence of other
humans.
