Due to this sudden bout of horrible weather, all artists have been
forced to cancel tonight's show. If you drive to the show, DON'T
BOTHER!

If you walk.. I will, however, plan to be at the Rendezvous tonight
(as they never close) to greet whomever decided to brave the elements
with a semi-intimate free screening of "Daisies" ("Sedmikrásky"), a
bonkers 1966 fillm by Czech director Věra Chytilová. A film where,
"two teenage girls, both named Marie, decide that since the world is
spoiled they will be spoiled as well; accordingly they embark on a
series of destructive pranks in which they consume and destroy the
world about them. This freewheeling, madcap feminist farce was
immediately banned by the government." (from IMDB) Hardly a worthy
replacement for such advertised entertainments, but given the
circumstances, we endure. What else will us locals do?
