List of extensions?

Why do you have to use the search to see what's available? Can't the
website simply have an area with an alphabetical list of available
extensions? Something like the "recent" list...

The expectation is that there will eventually be so many that one would not be able to effectively list them all. The “recent” feed is designed to address that issue. One could write a pretty simple script to check the “recent” stats API every day and update a list:

I’d also like to get an Atom version of that API at some point…

Just realized we kind of already have one, via the Twitter feed:

I think I'll go change the API update script to run every five minutes instead of 60, though.
