This is to inform you that one of our Members, David Ryan, has produced a set of 6 postcards and a limited edition watercolour print for the occasion of the forthcoming Preston Guild.
The print is entitled “Landscapes of Preston”, and illustrates 87 individual/groups of buildings within the city boundaries. A limited edition of 100 has been published, and each print will be signed and numbered by the artist, and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The postcards are entitled, “Landscapes of Preston”, “Guild Twinning (Montage)”, “Buildings of Preston (1)”, “Buildings of Preston (2) – Towers and Spires”, Buildings of Preston (3) – Mosques and Temples”, and “Buildings of Preston (4) – Licensed Premises”. The first two are in A4 size, the other four are in A6. If a complete set of postcards is purchased, David will also include a PGSA-headed postcard depicting the School building, with the Hall flanked by the two Towers, and containing the legend “PGSA still alive and kicking in 2012”.
The print and the postcards contain superb artwork, and they are all produced to a very high professional standard. What is more, they are pretty unique, as David is not allowed to advertise them through commercial channels. The images have been published on the home page of the Website, along with all the necessary details, including the cost and how to purchase them.
The added bonus is that the Association will receive a percentage of the proceeds, so that in effect you will be making a donation, whilst becoming the proud owner of a top-quality memento or set of mementos pertaining to the Guild! And of course the postcards can also be sent to friends and family. So why not take a look and avail yourself of this unique offer?
