MySQL plugin - Questions

Hi,

I have some questions regarding the MySQL plugin:

1. One of the columns in the DB is called hash_method. I know that it
can work with MD5. Does it support MD5 salt?
2. The plugin configuration is stored in the registry. The password
key stores a key. What is the type of that key?
3. In the company which I work for the users are defined as local
administrators on the PCs. Is there any way to protect the program/
registry/configuration files?
