So, I'd like some feedback from you guys on what you think we should do here.
This week we have a tutorial from Jesse Legg on Django. This will require people to have laptops with them, and Jesse will need a screen to project his presentation on.
The way I see it, we have 4 options:
1: Find a new space that can accomodate laptops and has a projector by Friday and have the meeting next week.
2: Postpone until next week and do the normal Vivisimo routine. This is what we will default to if we can't find anything by Friday.
3: Ask Jesse to postpone his presentation until next month, and make this month a social meet up at some convenient bar.
4: Finally, we could also combine options 2 and 3, which would involve getting together next week AND the following week.

I'm fine with option #2 or I can look into finding a room at Pitt in my building (similar to what I offered last time when we went to Alpha Lab instead).

Hey all - I'm fine with option #2, except I will be in Colorado for work
the next week, which means I couldn't do the Django talk. I'm fine with
bumping me into June if you want to have a social meet up instead.

I'm seeing one vote in favor of option two, and two people who are "fine" with it. Not really the decisive response I was hoping for. I'm going to proceed with Stephen in securing Google for the meeting to take place next Wednesday. As soon as that is confirmed, I'll begin promoting the meeting. (Hopefully tomorrow).
Jesse, will you still be able to present your tutorial?

Assuming this is going to happen next week at some yet to be determined location (and I can most likely get a room at Pitt if Google falls through), it would be great if you could let us know what software we need to have installed for the tutorial, and perhaps anything you would recommend looking over beforehand for those of us with no Django experience.

Hey Josh, I wasn't planning on requiring too much other than Python and
some basic knowledge of how the web works, but I will make a post to the
meetup site and send it out on the mailing list too.

Hey guys. I've contacted Google and am trying to secure that space. I will hopefully have that settled today. If it doesn't work out, we'll try for space at Pitt. We don't have many definitive votes for or against, so I'd rather err on the side of keeping the meeting time the same, particularly since Jesse won't be able to present next week. I'll update the list, Tumblr, Twitter, Meetup, Google+ and anything else I can think of once I have the final word on our meeting place.
