Electrical Engineers - Sony Pittsburgh

The Sony Technology Center-Pittsburgh, located 40 miles east of
Pittsburgh,
seeks 3 Electrical Engineers for the Projection TV business unit.

CQA Engineer

Requires a BS or MS EE or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years experience
working
with semiconductors (through a combination of educational and professional
experience). The selected individual will be responsible for identifying
sources
of defects, minimizing defect rates and conducting failure analysis. Will
work
with vendors to evaluate electrical parts and semiconductors. Knowledge of
analytical techniques (DOE/QFD/FMEA, etc) helpful.

Electrical Engineer - Engineeering Center

Requires BS, EE and a minimum of 1 year related work experience. The
selected
candidate with design and analyze electrical circuitry for the rear
projection
TV produced on the site. Will help develop and design new features. The
selected
individual will also work closely with manufacturing. Will also need
programming
skills (assembly language preferred).

QC Engineer

Requires a BS, EE and a minimum of 2 years experience with a knowledge of
electronic circuit design. Will work closely with the Engineering Center
and
manufacturing to reduce defects. Will be responsible for identifying and
minimizing product defects, conducting failure analysis and performing
data/
market analysis.

Candidates for all three opportunites must possess excellent verbal and
written
communication, problem solving skills and the ability to work in a team
environment.
