Pennsylvania Progressive Summit Session Proposal Form

The Pennsylvania Progressive Summit (The Summit) is a collaborative project of dozens of progressive organizations, unions and individual activists in Pennsylvania.  The Summit will bring together hundreds of Pennsylvanians to discuss environment, energy, health care, home foreclosures, civil rights, state finances and budget, labor organizing and other progressive issues.  It will include panels led by state and national experts; identity, issue and regional caucuses; prominent political, issue and policy-oriented speakers; and the most concentrated gathering of progressive bloggers and field organizers in Pennsylvania to date.  Our first Summit will be held January 29 and 30, 2010 in Harrisburg. We’re anticipating about 500 attendees.

Propose a workshop
We are asking our friends and allies to join us by submitting a proposal for a workshop or roundtable for January 30.  Sessions will be one hour long and will be held starting at 10:30 AM and running until about 6:00 PM.

While there is no deadline date for submitting proposals, there is limited space for sessions. It is therefore important to submit your proposal as early as possible to assure the best chance for your session being approved. Upon receipt of your proposal the Program Committee will decide if it fits.  They will notify you as soon as a decision is made.
