I did a test, manually removing and adding 'A' records from my
test json file 'dummy.com.json' and the changes were almost
immediately
picked up, as expected.

So a little script to read 'dummy.com.data',  test A records in some
way,
and then generate a new  'dummy.com.json', and do this every
'interval' (could
be 10 seconds) looks like something I can implement myself
immediately,
and will leave pgeodns code unchanged.
