Testing needed for 'bandwidth_limit' option

Hi guys,

I have committed in the master branch of the GIT repository the code
that handles limitations of I/O bandwidth through the 'bandwidth_limit'
global/server option.

We are planning to release the 1.2.1 version in the next weeks, so it
would be good if you could test the code and let us have your feedback.

Any comments/suggestions are most welcome. Thank you.
