Hey,
just wanted to let you know that my company [1] released 'rbarman' [2]
and 'barmaid' [3] :)
With barmaid, a restful HTTP API for barman, we gave our developers a
simple solution to create up-to-date development databases by executing
two clicks in our dashboard.

OK, I think I got everything installed correctly as the barman user but I get this when hitting the url...
Errno::ENOENT at /api/servers
No such file or directory - /root/main/base/20140416T232701/backup.info

Is barmaid running as barman user? Seem's like it's running as root user (/root/main/base...)
