Subject: dogs with allergies
I  have 3 dogs..(all pugs), and 2 of them have severe allergies.  I've
tried everything, including daily medication.  It wasn't until I
switched from their expensive pet store food to cooking for them that
they finally started to feel better.  One of my dogs still has
allergies in the spring and Summer...she gets rashes all over her
belly and under her arms...if anybody has a solution to that, I'd love
to read it.

I've also written a blog about some of my experience with cooking for
my dogs...you can read more about it here, if you are interested..
http://cookingforyourdogs.blogspot.com/

I've actually found that I really enjoy cooking meals for them, even
though it's something I said I would never do.  It has made such a
difference in all 3 of them, its truly amazing!  My 4 year old pug,
who acted like she was 10 is playing like a puppy again, and I know it
is because she feels so much better.

I also have a question about ear wash.  My dogs get frequent ear
infections, and at one time I had been given a recipe for a home made
ear wash solution that was supposed to eliminate (or at least cut down
the frequency of) the infections.  Does anybody have such a
recipe...or have suggestions on how to prevent and treat ear
infections..?
