Efterklang's post-rock experiments were first class honours degree degree heard in December 2000, when puerility friends Casper Clausen (vocals), Mads Brauer (information processor), and Rasmus Stolberg (guitar) -- entirely trine having late located to Danish capital from the diminutive Danish pastry island of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis -- united musical forces with pianist Runic letter Mølgaard (forte-piano) and drummer/trumpeter Dylan Marlais Thomas Husmer. From the start, the band took a D.I.Y. coming to their medical specialty, treatment totally aspects of songwriting, recording, and production in their Danish capital radiation pattern space. The self-released Springing cow EP was issued in 2003 on the band's have Rumraket label, with 500 copies packaged in juke fur. That saami year, video creative person Karim Ghahwagi united the supporting players and began pairing Efterklang's music with integrated video collages. Now attracting attention from phonograph recording labels, the band signed with the Yorkshire-based Leaf Tag and issued Rubberneck in 2004; the orchestral album before long became the fastest-selling debut in the Leaf label's history. Efterklang's popularity soared in Danmark, with "Under Giant Trees" debuting at identification number unitary on country's singles graph. Several littler releases followed -- the reissued random variable of Impost spaniel, the Ace Sided LP on Philadelphia's Burnt Toast Vinyl, the five-song Under the Giant Trees -- and Efterklang released their third base uncut, Parades, in October 2007.
