I see that reporting of persons for Sendong with a status of deceased
is not possible using the status menu. Is this now a permanent feature
of your UI? Do you still allow reporting a status of deceased through
data uploads?

Its actually configurable, but off by default.

Yes.  Speaking of which, did we mention the new urls to you?

We are successfully using the new URL format that came out for Turkey:

https://sendong.googlepersonfinder.appspot.com/feeds/

Is that correct? -Leif

We've moved the official location to http://www.google.org/personfinder/sendong.  Let us know if you have any problems with it.

Let me clarify things a bit.  Google Person Finder's pages and API are now hosted under google.org/personfinder, but the pages and the API remain available at both the older URLs, e.g. https://sendong.googlepersonfinder.appspot.com/feeds/person and the new URLs, e.g. https://google.org/personfinder/sendong/feeds/person/.

I've been holding off on announcing this because (as you might notice), https://google.org/ is not yet serving the correct SSL certificate.  Our plan is to continue supporting the old URLs at least to the end of January 2012, to give everyone time to make the necessary changes to integrate with the new URLs.
