New to JSON & JSON databases...is there a good Persevere user reference?

I have been trying to get my head around the stability and robustness
of Persevere & CouchDB as they both relate to a production JSON
database server.

Can someone provide a link or reference on a production deployment of
Persevere?

I've found the Persevere documentation so scant, it is difficult for
me to judge how to evaluate the application.
