What a wonderful weekend for our 40th reunion!  The reunion was held on Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 28th & 29th. Over 100 attended from as far away as Norway, Florida, California, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Oregon, Nevada and Virginia as well as Texas.  On Friday morning, the early birds attended the pep rally and tour of the school.  The pep rally was very exciting.  The Homecoming Court was introduced and the 1967 reunion group was recognized.  It was wonderful to see the renovations that were taking place at PHS including the construction of the new $1 million indoor practice facility.   A pre-game get-together/dinner was held at Dos Amigos Restaurant.  PHS was victorious over Lubbock Monteray.  The weather was pleasant for the picnic on Saturday.  Saturday evening ended our weekend with the banquet and a performance by Permian's own choral group "Black Magic".  What a thrill to sing our alma mater once again with our classmates.  It seemed as if time had truly stopped.  The concensus was to have the next reunion in 5 years.  Please keep your e-address updated on www.permian.net as this will be the official site for contacting all alumni.
