I thought you might know that I saw your message and rectified the problem.
Perl 5.8 is now on spe159 and spe143, the two NetBSD machines here in Test
Drive, which are running NetBSD 1.6 now rather than 1.5.2 as indicated in
your message. I just upgraded them last week, which is probably why perl
wasn't there anymore.

Feel free to copy this to the mailing list (I'm assuming this message was on a
mailing list since I don't have a "perl.perl6.internals" group on my news
server - I found your message thanks to Google Groups), and let everyone know
that if they run into trouble like this again, just drop a line to us at
test...@compaq.com, and we'll be more than happy to respond.
