Specifically for Leo.

As everyone's well aware, Leo writes an amazing amount of code. Alas,
he's running on an x86 Linux system with gcc, possibly the most
forgiving development environment on the planet, even with full
warnings enabled. (As those of us with other systems find when we
update :)

Since it's really tough to catch things that you don't know about,
the sensible thing to do is get a less-forgiving system to work with.
Normally I'd consider something like DEC^WCompaq^WHP's Test Drive
system but remote systems are a massive pain to work with and Leo's
on a per-minute metered ISDN setup so it's not feasible anyway.

So, we're trying to scare up something Unixy that we can drop on Leo
for local portability testing. Donations can go through the Perl
Foundation if that sort of thing's appealing (It's a 503(c)(3)
nonprofit, so donations are generally tax-deductible, at least in the
US) or not, whatever's best.

If you're willing, get in touch with Leo (And Allison Randal
<a...@shadowed.net> for the TPF end of things) and work something out.
