This is a success report for perl from dough...@lafayette.edu,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.39 running under perl 5.16.0.

Perl reported to build OK on this system.

Major versions of Perl are in general not binary compatible.  That's not
a problem with the @INC shown, however, because there are separate
directories for the XS modules (they're the ones with the machine
architecture in the name), and that @INC only includes XS directories
for 5.16.

No, it's just sharing the non-XS based extensions, so it's fine .  See the
section

    =head1 Coexistence with earlier versions of perl 5

in the INSTALL file for all the gory details.
