Hi Barbie and Testers-

I've been seeing a 2-3 day update rate on the
http://www.cpantesters.org page for the Perl
Data Language (PDL). I've double checked my
preferences to request daily email updates of
reports but have never received any reports to
date. Are email status reports even sent out
anymore?

The PDL developers rely on CPAN Testers to
verify the module performance for platform
configurations we do not have access to.
Unfortunately, the very long update intervals
are making it difficult to meet our goal of a
new PDL stable release before the end of
March.

Is there any way the PDL page refresh could
be given a sub-day priority for the next couple
of weeks as we count down our final release
candidates.

Thanks much,
Chris Marshall
(PDL-2.006 release manager)

There is a fast[*] alternative view on reports available since November.
As long as the main cpantesters site is slower than this alternative
view, we will keep it up and running. You find the link at the bottom of
the matrix with the label "Matrix via log.txt (temporary!)".

For PDL the current page seems to be:

http://217.199.168.174/cgi-bin/cpantestersmatrix.pl?dist=PDL%202.004_996

Look around on the page to find the version you want to watch.

The disadvantage of this view is that you cannot access the reports
themselves, only the results and the names of the testers.
