Subject: pt-table-checksum compatibility with Percona XtraDB Cluster

Hi,

Was just wondering if pt-table-checksum is compatible with Percona XtraDB
Cluster to check data integrity against all nodes, if yes how do we need to
use it in this case please ?

Thanks,
Regards.

Laurent

afaik, pt-table-checksum is not yet compatible with PXC. To run the
checksum in synchronous cluster, each node needs to process the
checksum in same slot of transaction stream. There is support in
Galera side to enable synchronous checksumming. However,
pt-table-checksum will need some tuning to use this new feature.

Hi Seppo,

Thanks for this answer, maybe someone from Percona will answer with some
details about the support of PXC with pt-table-checksum in the near future ?

Regards,

Laurent

Laurent,

It should be supported in our next Percona Toolkit 2.1.4 release.
