I've ported Facebook's slocket feature to Percona MySQL 5.5.19;  This
allows you to get slow log without hitting the mutex around it.  I
added the extended stats as well.  I think it would be great if
Percona were interested in adding this into their releases.

Can you either
a) post unified diff
b) post bzr branch of Percona Server (based on current release)

That way it's a lot easier to read what's gonig on.

I've updated it as a unified diff with 10 lines of context.  Sorry I'm
not working out of a bzr branch right now.  The same link will work
for the new version.
