Hi,

I'm trying to install Percona Server on Ubuntu. The download page has
many packages:

Many of them have similar names. Which packages do I need to install?

Hi Andy,

You're better off installing from the Percona APT repository, so you can
easily get package upgrades and pull in dependencies. The instructions to do
this are on the Percona site, here:

I did follow the instructions there. I ran the commands:

# gpg --keyserver  hkp://keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys 1C4CBDCDCD2EFD2A
# gpg -a --export CD2EFD2A | apt-key add -
# apt-get update

What do I need to do after that? Thanks.

Well, this has added the package repos to APT, now you need to install a
package. Something like "apt-get install percona-server-server-51" should
get you going.
