Subject: Final Push For State Matching Funds

    Senate Bill 221 is the capital budget and has passed both houses of the
state legislature.  It includes the $2 million in funds to match the
Anchorage Pool Bond.

    Once the Governor receives it, she has ten (10) days to deal with it.
It became a "Christmas Tree" and had all sorts of things added to it.

    We need to keep our heads above water and have a high profile.

    Please send an e-mail directly to the Governor at gover...@alaska.gov.
If you live outside Anchorage, please indicate that.

    We have come a long way and the steps we take over the next week are
very important to success.
