wondering whether there were any examples of integrating pentadactyl with browser bookmarklets (instapaper, delicious, etc)?
anything regarding assigning keyboard shortcuts to trigger bookmarklets located in the bookmarks bar?

Just add the bookmarklet to your bookmarks as usual and add a keyword
to it. Then can use it with

:o mybmletkeyword

and of course you can add a mapping like

:map m :o mybmletkeyword<CR>

to 'open' the bookmarklet with a keyboard shortcut (in this example
'm')
