Mark de la Poer Beresford

A friend informs me that The Sydney Morning Herald of 14 May 2012 carries a death notice for 'Mark'  de la Poer Beresford, who has died aged 88 (no death date given); he leaves a [second] wife, Gwen, children Roslyn and Julie and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr de La Poer Beresford was the only son of William Coventry de la Poer Beresford (1887-1938), 2ndson of Henry Tristram de la Poer Beresford (1841-1930), 2nd son of the Revd George Hamilton Beresford (1801-1869), 3rd son of the Revd and Hon George Beresford (1776-1842), 2nd son of William Beresford, 1st Baron Decies.  He was therefore in remainder both to the Irish barony of Decies, and to the subsidiary titles of the Waterford family, the 1st Baron having been a younger son of the 1st Earl of Tyrone, viz the Irish earldom and viscountcy of Tyrone, and the baronies of Beresford and la Poer, as well as the family's Irish baronetcy of 1665.
