JAMMU, Mar 16: The JK Thinkers Forum and Jammu Kashmir Nationalist
Movement today jointly organised "Navreh Milan" (New Year) function to
ascertain the role of major political parties in restoring trust
between the displaced Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Muslims.
Representatives of all major political parties of the state
participated in this function…

Mani Shankar Aiyar [ Images ], former Indian [ Images ] diplomat-
turned-politician, on Monday said the only way to resolve the problems
between India and Pakistan is uninterrupted bilateral dialogue despite
the bomb blasts in Mumbai [ Images ] in 2008 and Islamabad's
[ Images ] allegations against India for its own troubles. Delivering
an address at the Indian Consulate in New York, Aiyar said that while
both Pakistan and India are the 'albatross' on each other's neck there
are ways to resolve the issues"…

ISLAMABAD, Mar 17 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari has directed the
Minister for Minorities to set up a special help line in the Ministry,
with an extension to the Presidency for emergency calls from members
of minority communities subjected to violence…The President also
inquired about the progress in forming interfaith committees and
establishment of skill development centers for the minority
communities.

DHAKA: Delegations from Bangladesh and India will soon sit at a Joint
Boundary Working Group (JBWG) meeting to resolve border disputes in
line with Mujib-Indira Land Boundary Agreement 1974. Foreign Minister
Dipu Moni said this in parliament Monday, but did not specify probable
date for the meeting…
