New Delhi, May 20 (PTI) Responding to Pakistan's queries, India today
handed over to it the third dossier of evidence on Mumbai attacks,
which includes certified DNA report and statement of the lone arrested
terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab. The voluminous documentation, comprising
replies to 10 queries made by Pakistan and 15 booklets, were handed
over by a senior official of the Ministry of External Affairs when he
called a senior diplomat of the Pakistan High Commission to the
Ministry here…

MIRPUR: Weekly trade volume across the line of control dividing the

LAHORE: The Samjhota Express currently running with Pakistani rake
will run with Indian rake from June 4 to December 3, 2009, Pakistan
Railways (PR) sources have said. After completion of six months with
Pakistani rake, the train will run with Indian rake for the next six
months from June 4…

NEW DELHI: India said Tuesday it would send special envoys to Sri
Lanka while providing 5 billion rupees (100 million US dollars) worth
of aid to help in the rehabilitation of Tamil civilians displaced in
the war, reported the private Indo-Asian News Service….Mr. Mukherjee
emphasised the need for a political solution while maintaining the
territorial integrity of Sri Lanka…

DHAKA: The Awami League-led coalition will sign the inter-governmental
agreement on the Asian Highway network although the BNP-Jamaat
government refrained from ratifying it on the grounds of
‘controversial’ route proposals, said officials of the communications
ministry on Wednesday…. The Asian Highway network, which will stretch
for 1,41,000 kilometres and cross 32 Asian countries after completion,
is also linked with Europe. So far 28 Asian countries have ratified
the agreement, according to UNESCAP.
