PortlandWiki (Urgently) Needs You

Hi All,
Advancing senility has caused me to forget if we've set up a groups
list for PortlandWiki yet, so this message goes out to the
WikiWednesday list (sorry).
Yesterday evening Mark Dilley and I (dave myers) got together at
Backspace to make a few quick-'n'-dirty edits to PortlandWiki:

(We basically scraped content and formatting from elsewhere around the
Wiki universe, as if that weren't obvious, and then did as much
editing as a couple of hours would allow...)
It would be good if we could all participate in sprucing up these
edits fairly quickly. A couple of immediate concerns:
Q. Does anyone have any suggestions on logos, even if just a temporary
placeholder?
Q. Several MediaWiki plugins need installing. I'll get to it as
quickly as I can, but if anyone else is eager to do that now, please
don't hold your tongue.

Backspace Monday evenings (6:30pm). Please join us!

Thanks Dave! Actually I had started building a draft main page a few weeks ago and mentioned it here: http://portlandwiki.org/index.php?title=Talk:PortlandWiki#Main_page_drafts Perhaps you didn't see it. In any case, I think yours is a good start and I'll add my comments on the Talk:PortlandWiki page.
There is no Google group for Portland Wiki as far as I know; I think this may be a good thing because it forces us to communicate on-wiki.
With the logo, I'm sorry it's been taking me so long. I'll have something up (even just a placeholder) by the upcoming Wiki Wednesday at the latest, if not earlier.
