The next meeting of the Portland Ruby Brigade is coming up next week.

Presentations:
* Markus Roberts: Hangman Ruby puzzle
* Casey Rosenthal: Overview and use of Riak, a NoSQL database with a
focus on availability, fault-tolerance and scaling
* Jon Guymon: UNIX IPC with Ruby, a report from the trenches at New Relic

If you have a suggestion for a presentation, lightning talk,
discussion topic, have questions you'd like answered, etc. FOR NEXT
MONTH ... please prepare and either reply or mention it at the
beginning of the meeting. You're also welcome to post suggestions any
time during the month.

GROUP: The Portland Ruby Brigade is a user group for Ruby programmers
in the Portland Oregon area. Join other developers for  presentations
and discussions about Ruby and its uses. Meetings are usually on the
first Tuesday of the month.

VENUE: CrowdCompass office in the Ford Building, 2505 SE 11th Ave,
#300, Portland, OR 97202, US. The meeting will be in suite 300 on the
3rd floor, which has a "CrowdCompass" sign by the door. You can enter
the building after hours on Division by walking through "Ford Food &
Drink", or on 11th by walking through the parking lot. This venue is

I haven't been to the CrowdCompass venue yet.  Is there a projector there with a DVI connector?

Sean and Matt: I'm almost certain that your CrowdCompass projector can
use DVI, but do you have a cable for it? If not, I can bring one.

The projector supports DVI and there is a cable on hand in case you need one.
