Hi list,

This book is part tutorial and part practical applications.  It's geared towards the intermediate/advanced JS programmer who wants to get started with AngularJS and needs to get some stuff done quickly.  Advanced topics are covered in detail.  Example code is on github and working examples on plunker.  My hope is that somebody finds this useful and feels confident with the framework after reading.

I would appreciate any constructive feedback anyone on this list may have.  Also, this is my first book, and if anyone has any questions about what it's like to write one, I'll happily answer any of those questions.

thanks
Chris

If your book can explain how to set an HTTP Basic Auth header for an ngResource, I'm all-in :)

I'm going to write a blog post for Safari Books Online this weekend, so maybe I'll try to figure this out. :D

Hey Chris,

I bought your book, its great and reads much better than Brad Green's AngularJS. Very concise and you don't muddle up any examples with other technologies. Ever thought about maybe doing something similar to John Lindquist's video tutes? Please keep me up to date of any other angularjs things you will be doing, i'll definitely check it out.

cheers,
Ritchie

Thanks for the feedback Ritchie.  Glad to hear you liked it!  Have kicked around the idea of doing some videos but I'll definitely think more about it now.

Hey there Ritchie,

Was wondering if we could use this quote on the book's site?

thanks
