Hi all,
I wanted to invite you to "Writing High Integrity JavaScript" on June 5, an event presented as a part of AppNexus' Engineering@Scale technical speaker series.
We will kickoff with two lightning talks and then dive into"Writing High Integrity JavaScript" with Nathan Wall, a software engineer on AppNexus' User Interface team. Nathan's talk will explore common security problems and solutions in JavaScript, various ways to implement private state JavaScript, and tips for hardening code to run safely alongside third party scripts.
We'll have pizza, beers, and more integrity than you can shake a stick at.
When: Wed. June 5 – 6:30pm
Where: NedSpace (1400 SW 5th Ave, 3rd Fl [btw. Columbia & Clay])
AppNexus' Engineering@Scale is a bi-monthly conversation series devoted to technical talks on scalability, high performance computing, data infrastructure, and much more. This series features presentations from both AppNexians as well as other companies dealing with scale engineering challenges, and we look forward to creating a rich dialogue around these issues. Since the launch in January 2013, these talks have been held in-house in AppNexus' NYC headquarters and have attracted hundreds of developers and technologists. We've just opened an office in Portland and want to expand this series to the Portland community.
Engineering@Scale 2013:
Cheers,
Jessica
