Hi folks,

I'm planning on participating in the PlaidCTF this weekend with at least one other regular at the Wednesday, Exploit Workshop group.  If you're interested in joining us, please stop by for exploit workshop tonight or reply to this thread.

Assuming that there is enough interest, I was thinking of just running this out of Brainsilo over the weekend along with having an IRC channel for those who can't make it out but would like to participate.

I might participate remotely as well; we'll see.

The game begins at 2pm Pacific tomorrow, April 19.  I'll plan on being at BrainSilo tomorrow night to kick things off around 7; if enough folks show I'll order a couple of pizzas or something.  For the folks who can't make it out but want to participate, I'll plan on idling in #brainsilo or #brainsilo-ctf on Freenode.  Please read the rules before you get started (http://reg.plaidctf.com/dropdowns/rules).

Additionally, for any problem that you solve please try to keep your notes organized!  I would like to run a post-mortem for next week's Exploit Workshop.

I try to avoid being spelling corrector guy, but I felt impressed to note that it's "ditto" - which leads to an interesting read about duplication devices of yore, which (if you're my age or a bit older) you may remember from middle/elementary school.

Also - I'm not clear what PlaidCTF is either.

Thanks, that's a sweet link (and I value the correction). So what time is this event ending? How long does a CFT take?

Are you out of town, is that why the spirit of Brain Silo has been withering?

Ya, I've been in beautiful beautiful Miami for the past week and a half : http://infiltratecon.com/

Flying back in tomorrow morning though, which is good because squinting in all this sunlight is making my eyes tired.
