Wanted: Puppet Master, Cloud Superhero (telecommute)

We're looking for a forward-thinking, technically deep DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain our fast-growing cloud-based infrastructure. If you relish the prospect of replacing long checklists with short scripts, and have passionate opinions about things like cross-region AWS failover support, this might be the job for you.

We're a small office headquartered in NYC, and have a small office in downtown Portland, but position is 2/3 telecommuting. We offer highly competitive compensation, lots of personal autonomy to get things done, and flexible working hours. Key skills we're looking for in this role include: Linux administration, Python scripting, experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, experience with Puppet, and Nagios or similar monitoring tools. Most important though is a keen interest in new technologies and the willingness to keep more than one ball in the air.
