Just a FYI

If you buy a WD drive and register it on their web site, you may notice a
OUT OF REGION warranty status that most people ignore. However that means -
if the drive fails you have to send it to out of the USA. If you open a
support ticket and tell them you bought it from a USA vendor (I use Amazon)

1. Verify you have a program associated with JPG, JPE, and JPEG files.
Click Start | Settings | Control Panel | Classic view | Default
programs | Associate a file type, and make sure the program it is
associating is installed and working properly. You might want to try
to reinstall that app if so, or put a new app in, such as Paint.Net,

I'm using win7 professional 64 bit and ie10, not to metion Java. Going to
any other browser is not an option. One of the programs I use a lot is from
General Motorsand they require IE and win7 professional. They won't help if
there is a problem until the other browsers are removed. Same as any anti

If this is an IE bug as suggested, have you tried using "Chrome" browser
which might be the easiest solution (and I bet most of us seldom use IE
anyway)

Yeah this was an old bug (since IE6? maybe earlier?) that didn't seem to
pop up all that often. I don't know that I've ever seen anything specific
that said it was fixed.
If memory serves, setting the option to "Empty Temporary Internet FIles
folder when browser is closed" usually took care of it

When you use ccleaner, you do turn off the registry cleaner in it right?

I do that and it does allow me to save pictures as .jpg. But I need to do
it about every 2 weeks. I use ccleaner daily, but still need to go into IE
and deleted the history files.Is there a way to not have to do this or set
IE to clear everything everytime I exit IE?

delete your IE cache and let us know if that fixes it
