When you get the boot prompt type : LiveCD and press return

or

At the first screen press F6, press the up arrow,  press return for Default. Type mem=512M at the boot option prompt and press return

pclinuxos the cd boots to a gfxboot and says could not detect
available memory size boot: and it keeps constently booting the same
words and not going any further but i could try the ram but i dont
think its that
