Hey, Im generally new to Linux and I am having problems with the resolution. My monitor is 1728x1026 (weird, I thought too). I go into the /etc/X11/ and navigate to Xorg.conf I change the subsection as advised through some googling, and found although when I went to change the resolution to the new one I added. (It was at 24bpp near the bottom). When I go to the control panel to change it, it says its at 1728x1026, but I know its at 1600x*something*, as I put it to last time. Does anyone know a fix to this? Sorry for any inconsistencies and confusion, any questions I will happily answer them.
