Hmm "Ovenger" is in the PBCool MBL as well. Records #46654, #46655, and
#46656

-ACI-CVAR-ABOT132
-AoN
-AASA PBSS

So I suppose that confirms this is a bug.
I'll look into this right now

Found the bug in an SQL statement. 'name' where 'alias' should be :)
Thank you for reporting this bug. I'll release a patch in a few moments

You could do like Mozilla does for Firefox, nightly updates. Just a
idea.

LOL Did you ever see the first release? Before it was a PBSS viewer it
was just something you could run in the background to past in an IP and
it would open your browser and navigate it to the PBSVSS.htm for that
server! LOL Want a screen shot?

http://alexrs.no-ip.com/lmao.jpg

Then like 12 hours later I decided to make an actual Viewer :)

LOL @ Matja

So has any one discovered any bugs in the new Patch yet?
I haven't, I do realize some features are missing thought that I'd like
to include such as MBL search dialog. Post your suggestions in the
Suggestions/Ideas thread if you have any:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

This happens when PBCool tries to download the MBL, under certain
circumstances it may cause the main thread to freeze up and stop
responding to Window Messages until the MBL Downloading thread pauses
to allow for main WM Queue processing. (This is all caused by a delayed
response from AoN while PBCool is trying to download the Header for the
MBL File which it parses to determine when the last update occured in
UTC time format)

This means the window will/may stop being responsive (to your
mouse/keyboard), which rules out moving or resizing PBCool.

I'll release a patch soon to fix this synchronicity issue. In the
mean-time don't be alarmed, PBCool is not frozen, and the MBL header
download shouldn't take long.
For a quick fix if this problem is causing you issues (until I release
the patch) just disable the auto-managing of the MBL in the PBCool
Options. Use the manual 'Refresh MBL' menu item if you suspect you need
an MBL update.

Alex,

Ive got version 3.2.16 but on several occassions after I select a
player from the browse menu to view their screenshots, the actual
screenshots that appear are from a random selection of other players?

Any ideas?

I've tried refreshing the log etc which sometimes works. It happens on
all servers.

Hi Gordon,

This is actually a bug in the settings on the server from which your
downloading the PBSS's.
Sometimes the log entry (GUID and Sequence #) do not coincide with the
GUID printed on the actual PNG .

This happens when there are more Entries in the PBSVSS then there are
PNG's stored on the server, so they re-use the filenames for the PNG
files but the PBSVSS file isn't updated.

You'd likely only experience this when you are on Admin or Custom
download settings and are downloading many Log entries. This also
shouldn't happen on all servers, but a good majority of them you might
see one or two screen shots out of place. This is also more likely to
happen if you have disabled the time filter "Don't show screen shots
older than # days"

The only way to solve this in PBCool would be to use optical glyph
recognition on the actual PNG to make sure the GUID is the same as
what's supplied in the entry which provided the name of the PNG. This
would be a processor intensive process and likely wouldn't be worth it.

I'll see if I can come up with a practical solution.

Alex

Sorry for my bad grammar, just woke up -.^

I have the same problem as Gordon. I'm not sure what you mean by Admin
or Custom download settings but I don't manage our server at all and
every person I look at has the wrong screens. It's not a huge problem
because I usually just check all of them - but when we suspect a player
it's hard to pinpoint his screens. Overally nice job on the program
it's very nice

When you have a lot of ss that have the wrong name, you may want to
have the admin of the server stop the server and delete all the .png
and .html from the server. Then restart the server. After awhile the
pbsvss.htm file gets to large, and the png and htm files are
overwritten and it all gets out of sync.

I have a server at gamedaemons.com

The server IP is 69.12.9.242

But the screenshots are at
http://pb.gamedaemons.net/69.12.9.242/pbsvss.htm

I can't get PBCool to retreive screenshots correctly or add the server.

Bug, or am I just an idiot? :-)

Hi MrKrabbs,

No your not an idiot. :-)

I've released a patch today that fixes this problem.
You can do one of the following:

1. Type in 69.12.9.242
@http://pb.gamedaemons.net/69.12.9.242/pbsvss.htm in the Server Address
box and hit enter or press the connect button '[]'

2 Click the Custom Address button '@' beside the Server Address box.
Type in your server IP: 69.12.9.242
Type in the PBSS Url: http://pb.gamedaemons.net/69.12.9.242/pbsvss.htm
Click the 'Add' button to Connect to the Server :)

Please download the patch 3.04.0000 first from:
http://aaousers.org/PBCOOL/download.php?patch=3.04.0000

Or download the patch by going to the PBCool Info/Download page:
