Hi guys,

I'm trying to build a paver task that downloads a number of Mercurial
Python modules (some of these are available on the Cheese Shop, yes,
and some of them are temporary forks of other projects)

I see there's Subversion support, but does Paver have Mercurial
support (ie: I want to be able to do paver.hg.checkout, etc) (Or, even
better, uvc support...)

So, I wast curious if there was any progress on that path. If there's
not maybe I can find time to contribute something like this to the
project. (Or I'll shell out to hg to solve my immediate problem)

Thanks for the information!,

Hi Ryan,

Actually, all Paver does is shell out to svn as it is (and, in fact, that's what uvc does too!)

Does pip not do what you want? That's designed for downloading a number of modules, including ones in Mercurial...
